This is what happens. One company does it and everyone complains but still obeys. Then other companies take notice and adopt the practice. Putting online play behind a paywall is fucking stupid.
AND JUST WHEN I WAS SO FUCKING PROUD
The one complaint I had… oh well. At least there is a valid reason for charging for online play (servers.) And they’ve sweetened the deal a fair bit with all the perks (with the extra games it may well end up paying for itself.)
Disappointing, but a minor blot as far as I’m concerned.
